Practice Description
Rachel Loftspring is a Partner at Essig & Evans, LLP, a boutique family and fertility law firm in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Emory University.
Rachel practices fertility law exclusively, counseling clients from the United States and around the world on family-building through surrogacy as well as egg, sperm, and embryo donation. Her clients are intended parents and gestational carriers, recipients and donors, married and single, and of all sexual orientations. She is licensed in Ohio and Illinois.
Rachel brings a unique and invaluable background in transactional law and litigation to her fertility law practice. Prior to joining Essig & Evans, she led the legal department of a nationwide distributor and was an attorney at the renowned Chicago law firm, Jenner & Block. Rachel is an ART Fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys and a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American Bar Association’s Assisted Reproductive Technology Committee.
Outside of her legal practice, Rachel is an active participant and advocate in her community. She is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Fertility Foundation, which she brought to Cincinnati from Atlanta. She is also on the board of AJC Cincinnati and regularly organizes and hosts events for an array of organizations and causes.
